Nice N Easy was started by two couples and their friend Joshua Cockrell: Margot and Matt Piper, Garrett Crowell, and Adrienne Ballou.

Garrett, Adrienne, Joshua, and Matt all met working at Jester King Brewery back in the early 2010s. During this time, we built a strong relationship with the folks at Shelton Brothers Imports and Brasserie Cantillon. After leaving Jester King, we all built Nice N Easy where we curate a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails that we have found inspiring throughout our careers. The 4 of us helped host this event at Jester King for many years and we feel honored that we’ve been chosen to host it at our humble bar in the cHill Country. We can’t wait to host you in Johnson City!

We will be hosting the Zwanze Day event in Memorial Park directly behind Nice N Easy. Check-in will occur behind Nice N Easy between the park and the Nice N Easy building. Food vendors will be located in the parking lot of Johnson City Bank adjacent to our back patio. The Nice N Easy will be open for regular bar service.

No, the event is open to the public! All other beers (including a selection of Cantillon beers) will be available for purchase throughout the duration of the event, as well as a wide selection of cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. ONLY TICKET HOLDERS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE 2 SPECIAL ZWANZE BEERS.

• General Admission Ticket - exclusive access to all Zwanze Cantillon Beers starting at 2 pm (for up to 3 hours after initial tapping), each ticket includes:

  • (1) souvenir tasting glass 

  • (1) 4 oz pour of Zwanze Red 

  • (1) 4 oz pour of Zwanze White

  • (1) 4 oz pour of specialty Cantillon 

  • (1) Nice N Easy Jello Shot

• No substitutions on Zwanze pours.

We will start selling Zwanze Pours on a first come first served basis until the kegs pop.

The event kicks off at 12pm. Ticket holders may check in at this time. A wide selection of beer, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the day. Non Zwanze beers will start being poured in the park at 1 pm. Cantillon Zwanze Day beers will be available for ticket holders starting at 2 pm.

Free parking is available around town and a large amount of parking is available in front of the Blanco County Courthouse (located at 101 E Pecan Dr, Johnson City, TX 78636). The courthouse square is directly adjacent to our property and the park.

Please do not drink and drive, plan to have a designated driver. Designated drivers do not need to purchase tickets and are welcome to attend the event.

Uber and Lyft does not really exist in the Hill Country so plan accordingly.

Absolutely no outside food or beverages are allowed at this event. NO BOTTLE SHARES! Any outside alcohol will be confiscated and you will be asked to leave with no refund.

We will be getting two Zwanze beers and 4 other Cantillon beers. We have not been told yet which beers we will be getting.

Other beer, wine, cider, cocktails, and spirits will be available.

Zee’s Wiener System will be onsite selling Rhode Island style hotdogs.
